Public evidence sample - snapshot dated July 23, 2026
ZIP 45645: an honest warning-indicated route example
This sample shows how RoofLeadsAI should label a real source before a contractor buys. The source reported 1.00-inch hail and 60 mph wind as radar indicated. It did not report those values as observed at a property.
Source record before sales language
| Official source | National Weather Service Charleston, WV severe weather statement for warning KRLX.SV.W.0227. Inspect the official NWS alert record or the permanent Iowa State IEM archive of the NWS product. |
|---|---|
| Area named by source | Southern Lawrence County, Ohio, plus named counties in Kentucky and West Virginia. ZIP 45645 is an associated territory; this sample does not claim every address in that ZIP was inside the warning polygon. |
| Hail | Maximum hail size 1.00 inch, explicitly labeled by NWS as radar indicated. |
| Wind | Maximum wind gust 60 mph, explicitly labeled by NWS as radar indicated. |
| Observation status | No ground-observed hail or wind value is claimed in this sample. A later observed report would be a separate source record. |
| Property conclusion | None. A warning area or ZIP association is not a roof inspection, proof of damage, insurance finding, or homeowner expression of interest. |
The inventory gate matters
Snapshot result: the public inventory feed had only one ready address candidate for this ZIP at review time. That is below the 50-address Scout minimum, so the route should not be sold as ready.
This is a useful negative sample: a real storm signal does not make an address product fulfillable. Checkout eligibility must require both qualifying source context and enough screened route inventory.
Exact active data sources and their roles
| NOAA/SPC filtered preliminary reports | Preliminary hail, wind, and tornado reports. These may support an observed or ground-report label when the source record says so. |
|---|---|
| NWS API alert polygons | Official warnings, watches, polygons, and warning-indicated hazard values. These values are not converted into observations. |
| NHC HURDAT2 best track | Official tropical cyclone track and intensity history. It is not property-level observed wind. |
| Census and OpenStreetMap geocoding | ZIP and geographic association. Association method must remain visible because a ZIP or radius fallback is less precise than a source polygon intersection. |
| Public address and parcel connectors | County or state ArcGIS services, configured open-address/WFS feeds, and OpenStreetMap where available. The universal label is “filtered residential address candidate”; parcel-classified single family is stated only when supported. |
| NEXRAD visual tiles | Map context only. A visual radar layer is not used as a quantitative hail-size observation in the customer report. |
Freshness and delivery terms
Scheduled ingest target
Relevant weather feeds are scheduled approximately every three hours. Broader reconciliation runs approximately every twelve hours. These are operating targets, not a real-time service-level guarantee.
No current exclusivity
No address, ZIP, neighborhood, storm, route, or territory exclusivity is currently guaranteed. Do not buy on the assumption that a property has been reserved.
Manual order review
No automatic replacement, account credit, or refund is currently promised. A delivery concern is reviewed manually using the order reference and applicable terms.
Customer file fields
The paid file uses one row per filtered residential address candidate. The address below is redacted because this page is a public evidence example, not paid inventory.
| Address | ZIP | Record Source | Evidence | Association | Canvassing Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [redacted] | 45645 | Filtered residential address candidate | NWS alert: 1.00 in hail / 60 mph wind, radar indicated | Storm-event territory association; not a property damage finding | Uncontacted Address |
Field outcomes are not established yet
Validation baseline as of July 23, 2026: zero Stripe-confirmed route orders, zero verified field outcome reports, and zero repeat purchasers. RoofLeadsAI will not publish a close-rate or return-on-investment claim before paid pilot data exists.
The validation gate is five distinct paid contractor pilots, aggregate tracking from addresses delivered through signed jobs, and second purchases by at least three distinct pilot contractors.
What this sample proves - and what it does not
- It proves the linked NWS record carried warning-indicated 1.00-inch hail and 60 mph wind values for the named warning area.
- It shows the evidence label, source role, inventory gate, field schema, freshness target, and current commercial terms.
- It does not prove that a particular roof was damaged, that a homeowner wants service, or that canvassing the route will produce a sale.
